Last night I returned home from another successful ski trip with my youth group. The first day of skiing though, was very rough. It was -5 degrees, -20 with windshield, and it was snowing hard. It was fun, but still rough.
I started to think about how most ppl will never ski in their life. I bet many ppl over the world like in Africa, have never even heard of skiing! Then I realized I was very lucky, very blessed, even to be in this miserable weather. I was just soooo fortunate to be wealthy enough to go skiing, fortunate enough to have parents that would pay for my trip.
Thankfulness.
Psalm 107:1
“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
Found this while browsing gay blogs. You tricked me. Bravo sir. Reading about a ski trip will not convert me, though. You must try harder. Perhaps thoughts on a conversion to snowboarding?
Hi there
JARED is confused- obviously, but its ok, I wanted to say THANKS for your post! You dont know me, but Im thankful you have a THANKFUL heart for your trip! ITs cool Jared.. you can ski with us anytime!
It’s good to have a grateful heart. I had the oppurtunity to go skiing this past week but things came up and I couldn’t go. I should be thankful though because something might have happened if I had gone and I’d regret it for the rest of my life. God knows what he’s doing and I need not question Him!
